‘Bass 32 points, 14 rebounds’ KT wins 89-80 over LG… Game 5 goes to the wire

Suwon KT is back in the driver’s seat.

KT evened the series at 2-2 with an 89-80 victory over the Changwon LG Thunder in the fourth-round playoffs (PO) against LG in the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball League (KBL) on Wednesday at the KT Sonic Boom Arena in Suwon. Game 5 of the best-of-five series will be held on Nov. 24 at LG’s home venue in 텍사스홀덤사이트 Changwon.

Paris Bass led KT with a double-double of 32 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and four steals. Heo Hoon also bounced back with 18 points and four assists. In addition, Moon Sung-gon and Moon Jung-hyun contributed on the wings, while Ha Yoon-ki was solid under the basket.

LG, on the other hand, cried after Asem Marey failed to manage his fouls. He finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, but left the court early in the fourth quarter after picking up his fifth foul. In addition, Lee Jae-do lacked support with nine points and two assists as he made only 1 of 9 three-pointers, while Yoo Yoo-sang also made three of four three-pointers, but his other shots didn’t fall.

Both teams centered the game around their outside players. Foul trouble was the difference in the game. Bass picked up three fouls in the first quarter and was unable to play quickly. His replacement, Michael Eric, came out and started scoring quickly while keeping Marey in check.

KT started the second half with a 48-37 lead. Bass, who rested in the first half, came in for the third quarter. He dominated the second half and took control of the game. Meanwhile, Marey picked up his fifth foul early in the fourth quarter and left the game. Without him, the game tilted in KT’s favor as they were unable to control Bass at all.
