K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE temporarily suspended upcoming activities for members Minnie and Yuqi citing health concerns just two days before the release of the group’s second full-length album, “2 (Two).”While the scheduled release date for the new album remains unchanged, the group’s future activities remain uncertain. On Saturday, Cube Entertainment, the group’s agency, explained through an official press release that Minnie and Yuqi visited a hospital on Friday due to sudden symptoms of fever and headaches.”Following medical advice, the decision was made to temporarily halt the group’s activities, allowing the members to focus on sufficient rest and treatment,” the agency stated.

Consequently, the agency declared the cancellation of all upcoming events, including the previously scheduled press event on Monday, the release date of the new album. This health-related announcement is not the first for (G)I-DLE, with similar incidents occurring numerous times in recent months.Notably, Minnie left the stage during the group’s performances in the United States in December last year due to health issues. This led to a temporary suspension of her activities for several following weeks. Member Shuhua also sought medical attention with fever and was later diagnosed with Type A influenza.

The recurring reports of health issues have raised concerns about whether the agency is properly managing the group’s demanding schedules.Last year, (G)I-DLE embarked on a world tour from June to October, covering various cities in Asia, the U.S., and Europe. In December 2023, they participated in the “Jingle Ball Tour” across seven cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C, 카지노사이트킹 and Philadelphia, before appearing in local year-end performances.
