Park Sang-hyun ‘good shot’ for second straight day at KPGA Busan Open


Kwanrok’s Park Sang-hyun continued to build toward a spectacular finish on the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour.Park carded five birdies and two bogeys in the second round of the Baeksong Holdings-ASIAADCC Busan Open at Asiad Country Club (Par 71) in Busan on Sunday to drop three strokes.With a two-day total of 13-under-par 129, Park finished at 4 p.m. in sole possession of the lead.

Park, who shot a career-low 61 in the first round, said, “I’m just as happy with my score today as I was yesterday. I’m happy that I was able to reduce my score despite the windy conditions and difficult pin placement in the morning,” said Park, who is looking to win back-to-back tournaments following the Genesis Championship, which concluded on May 15, as well as the Genesis Grand Prize.
