World No. 2 Akane Yamaguchi wins China Open title
Won four tournaments in a row and has Asian Games gold prospects
World No. 1 badminton women’s singles player Ahn Se-young has won the 토토사이트 China Open Badminton Championships 2023.
Ahn defeated world No. 2 Akane Yamaguchi (JPN) 2-0 (21-10 21-19) in the women’s singles final of the tournament on Tuesday in Changzhou, China.
It was Ahn’s ninth win in 12 matches against Yamaguchi.
With this victory, Ahn has now won four consecutive tournaments, including the Korea Open, Japan Open and World Championships.
It was also her ninth title of the year. Ahn’s previous titles include the India Open and Indonesia Masters in January, the Korea Open in March, the Thailand Open and Singapore Open in June, the Korea Open and Japan Open in July, and the World Championships in August.
