Hope to maintain 10 professional basketball teams… Intention to establish Sono International Sono International,
the holding company of Daemyung Sono Group, announced its intention to take over 18 players from Goyang Day One Sports who were recently expelled from KBL.
KBL selects Sono International as a candidate company for the new 10th team and proceeds with full-scale establishment-related discussions.
Sono plans to officially submit the documents necessary for new member registration to KBL next week, and after verification, KBL will hold a series of board meetings and general meetings on the 21st to make a final decision on approval.
If Sono’s membership is approved, the 10 men’s professional basketball team system that has been in existence since its inception is expected to continue.
