Super Junior member Sungmin and actor Kim Sa-eun will become parents after 10 years of marriage.

Kim announced her pregnancy Tuesday through a video on her YouTube channel. In the video, she said, “I am expecting a baby. By the time you watch this video, I will be eight months pregnant.”

She added, “I am nearing 40, so this is considered a late pregnancy. I’ve been very worried and cautious, which is why we are announcing it now. After a long wait of 10 years, a miracle has brought us a baby.”

She shed tears of joy as she recalled the challenging journey. “It wasn’t easy to conceive. We went through a lot of effort to have this baby,” she said.

She revealed the baby’s nickname is PoPo. She continued, “It’s amazing to think that there’s life inside me. I am spending each day in awe and praying for a healthy delivery.”

Separately, Sungmin also shared his feelings on Instagram, saying, “As this baby came to us with difficulty, 추천 we will raise the baby with love and dedication, with a strong sense of responsibility.”

He added, “Having someone to care for makes everything in the world feel more precious than before. Please watch over us with warm hearts.”

Sungmin, who debuted as a member of Super Junior in 2005, married Kim in 2014 and has since paused his group activities. He is currently active as a trot singer, a type of Korean popular music, known for its use of repetitive rhythm and vocal inflections.
